Part (or episode) 5

***Last time, Jason and Janice helped their new friend Ricky beat Team Rocket and save the Clefairy. Now they have arrived in Cerulean City, ready for a new adventure!***

Jason, Janice, and Ricky walked into Cerulean City with no idea where to go. Ricky and Janice were looking for the Pokemon Center, while Jason was searching for- a resturaunt.
"Yes!" Jason squealed.
"Did you find the Pokemon Center?" Janice asked.
"Look! Resturaunts! Italian, Chinese, French, and- wow! American food! I love American food!"

Ricky and Janice fell over (Anime Style) with big sweatdrops on their heads. Janice jumped up promptly and smacked Jason with her fan. (Doesn't every girl have one?) 
"We're looking for the Pokemon Center!" Janice yelled.
"There it is!" Ricky began, "The Pokemon Center!"

There was a big crowd outside the center, police were everywhere. They weren't letting anyone in or out.
"Uh... what hapeened here?" Ricky asked an officer.
The police offcer turned around, he was tall and had red hair. (Like Jessie's)
"Some crooks stole some pokemon from here earlier. Hey, you don't look familiar, you three don't happen to know anything about the robbery here do you?" the officer replied.
"No, we just got into town."
"So you say. They always return to the scene of the crime. Do you have any I.D.?" 
Janice and Jason took out their pokedexes and it recited their names. Ricky took out his pokepalm and it did the same.
(A.N. A pokepalm is like a Palm-V. Ricky uses it to take notes on pokemon.)
"I see. Sorry I was suspicious! I'm Officer Kyle."
"Nice to meet you." Jason replied.
"Officer Kyle, can we get in the center?"
"Sure! I'll go move this crowd."

Soon the hoards of people were gone and everything was back to normal. Jason, Janice, and Ricky went int the center and gave their pokemon to Nurse Molly.
"You!" a girl began, "I finally found you!" The girl had electric yellow hair, looked about Ricky's age, and she was wearing a Vermillion Gym Thunder badge jacket.

Ricky turned around slowly, hoping it wasn't who he thought it was. "Tricity!" he began, "How nice it is to see you again."
"Don't give me that crap! Where's my skateboard!" she yelled.
"Uh.. who are you?" Jason asked.
"I'm Tricity Thunder! Junior Gym Leader of the Vermillion City Gym! This creep here owes me a new skateboard."

Tricity stared at Ricky with lightning in her eyes. 
"I-I uh..um can't-" Ricky was cut off by Nurse Molly.
"Your pokemon are ready." she said happily.
Then Ricky grabbed his pokemon and bolted out of the center, but Tricity ran right after him. Janice was about to follow but Jason stopped her, "Better not get involved." he said.

Jason and Janice left the center and soon found the Cerulean Gym. They walked inside and spoke to the receptionist, it was Misty's sister Violet.
"Hi," Janice began, "We're here to battle the gym leader."
"Like wow! Twins with, like blue hair! Like me!" Violet exclaimed.
"That's good but we're here to get a Cascade Badge."
"Like the gym leader isn't here, but you could like battle her sub, Eric.
"Okay." Jason and Janice replied.
"Like follow me!"

They followed Violet through the aquarium-like gym, as she was about to open the door to the arena, she stopped.
"Like, only one challenger at a time. One of you will have to like stay out here."
"I'm going first this time Jason, why don't you go to a resturaunt."
"Whatever, Janice. Bye."

Jason and Vulpix left the gym and were walking toward the American resturaunt. As they walked Jason spotted a pokemon, it was lying under a bench. Jason was hungry, but he went to check it out anyway. Jason ran over to the bench and took his pokedex out.
"Bulbasaur. A seed was planted on this pokemon at birth, it now grows with the pokemon."
There was one thing wrong with this Bulbasaur. It's cheeks were red and it was hardly breathing. Jason felt it's head.
"Geez! Your burning up! Who would leave a pokemon sick like this! I've got to get you to Molly."

Jason picked up the Bulbasaur and and ran as fast as he could to the Pokemon Center. By now he forgot about food.
Soon he burst through the doors of the center, and pushed through other people talking to Molly.
"Molly...please...help...this...pokemon." Jason panted as he put Bulbasaur on top the counter.
"Goodness! How could you let it get in this condition!" she scolded as she felt it's head.
"It's not mine!"
"I'll see what I can do. Chancey! I need a stretcher for a small grass pokemon stat!"

Jason went into the waiting room, and sat down. Vulpix jumped in his lap. 
"You think it'll be okay?" Jason asked Vulpix.
"Vul-pix. (Sure)" 

Jason stayed in the center for about an hour, then Janice walked in. "Jason! I got my Cascade badge! Metapod evolved into Butterfree at the last minute!"
"That's great." Jason replied with no enthusiasim.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I'm waiting for a pokemon."
Then Nurse Molly walked out of the emergency room with a happy Bulbasaur by her side.
"Jason, Bulbasaur is in perfect health! I also Officer Kyle check around, and he said no one is missing a Bulbasaur." Molly said joyfully.
"You mean?" Jason asked.
"Yes. You can have Bulbasaur if you like."
Jason jumped about ten feet in the air, " Bulbasaur, would you like to help me battle Eric?"
"Bulba-Bulbasaur! (Yeah, I will!)"
"Come on! Let's hurry!"

Jason and Bulbasaur left the Center and went straight to the gym. Jason spoke to Violet again and she took him to the arena. 
"I supose your here to challenge me too." Eric said before jumping off the diving board into the pool.
"Yeah I am! And I'll win." Jason replied.
Eric came up on the other side of the pool and jumped onto the blue platform, "We'll see. Two pokemon each."
Jason jumped onto the red platform, and pulled down his ski goggles, "Go Squirtle!"

Battle Mode: On (Globie's idea)

Eric: Eric chooses Staryu!

Jason: Squirtle! Shell Tackle!

Eric: Agility Staryu!

Squirtle misses and both pokemon fight underwater.

Eric: Staryu! Double Team!

Jason: Huh? Staryu knows that?

Squirtle gets confused, and can't fight.

Jason: Dang! Squirtle return! Go Bulbasaur!

Eric: Staryu return! Go Starmie!

Jason: Vine Whip!

Bulbasaur slams Starmie on the platform repeatedly.

Eric: Starmie! Water Gun!

Jason: Counter it with Leech Seed!

Leech Seed saps Starmie of all it's power.

Eric: Starmie Return!

Battle Mode: Off

Jason jumped onto the other platform and hugged Bulbasaur, Eric swam over to him, "Congratulations Jason! You're a superb trainer! Here is your Cascade Badge."
"Thanks a lot Eric!"

Jason returned his Bulbasaur and left the gym. Once he got outside he found Janice, Ricky, and Tricity waiting for him. 
"Did you get the badge?" Ricky asked.
"Yeah I beat Eric!" Jason exclaimed.
"How about we go to that resturaunt now, Jase?*" Janice asked.
(*new nickname)
"Sure! I've been waiting all day."

As they were walking Jason had a question, "Tricity, why are you following us anyway?"
"I'm following Ricky! I want the skateboard he broke 3 months ago!" she exclaimed.
"Okay Ms. Thunder I'll pay you back soon." Ricky sighed.

***Jason, Janice, and Ricky now have a new friend, Tricity Thunder. Jason and Janice are well on their way to the Pokemon League, but have many more adventures to go!***
