Ash Ketchum was born and raised in quiet little Pallet Town. Now Ash is on a destined journey to become a Pokemon Master, if only he could beat his rival Gary Oak! Pokemon: Pikachu, Squirtle, Charizard, Bulbasaur, and Lapras. He had a Pidgeot, Butterfree, and Primape.

Misty
Misty is from Cerulean City, this young girl has an big obsession with water pokemon. Misty travels with Ash for a bike he destroyed early in their travels. Misty says that's the only reason she follows Ash, but I get the feeling she's not telling the whole story. Pokemon: Staryu, Starmie, Horsea, Psyduck, and Togepi.

Brock
Brock is the former Gym leader of his hometown, Pewter City. Brock hated battling pokemon, he enjoyed breeding them. That was his lifelong dream, to become the world's greatest Pokemon Breeder. Unfortunately ten little brothers and sisters kept him back, until his father returned. This girl-crazy teen traveled with Ash and Misty until episode 83, when he decided to stay with Professor Ivy. Pokemon: Onix, Geodude, Vulpix, and Zubat.

Tracey is a Pokemon Watcher, he seems like a very smart person and wonderful artist. Since he just entered the show here in the Eastern U.S. I don't know much about his personality. Pokemon: Marril, Venonat, Venomoth

Jessie is the female half and brains of Team Rocket. Her ultimate goal in life is be most beautiful woman in the world and catch all the pokemon she can for the Boss. Especially Pikachu. Jessie can be dominating, but she shows a sincere side as well. Pokemon: Arbok, Likitung

James is cool! He may not be the brainiest person in the world, but he comes up with a lot of good plans to capture Pikachu. James has a very large obsession with food, and he sometimes lets his appitite get in the way of work. Pokemon: Weezing, Victreebel

Meowth
"I'm the top cat around here!" is Meowth's favorite saying, and you'd better belive every word of it! This talking pokemon's one dream is to kick Persian off the Boss' lap and get up there himself. But he'll have to catch Pikachu first.
