"Mike... you look..." Billy started. "Different." Misao finished. Mike
looked down at himself. His usual black clothing was replaced by a white
that shimmered in the light he produced. "I'm not Mike." Mike replied. "Okey
dokey." Sarah said. "Then who are you?" "Your understanding would be -
Lightside." "Okay, Lightside." Darren said. "Are you with us?" Lightside
stared at him, then raised his eyebrow. "That would be a stupid question."
Lightside replied.
Around the campfire, Skye, Cozmo, Jason, Aoshi, and Nicky held a meeting.
"What are we going to do?" Jason asked. "Let Skye fight." Aoshi replied.
"That's a fight I can't win." Skye replied. "If I did fight, I'd be letting
part of Mike kill me, Jason, and Janice. You think Mike would ever let
himself live with that knowledge?" "No choice." Nicky said. "No choice?"
Cozmo replied. "There's always a choice." "We can let Skye fight, or not
fight. Either way, Janice dies." "Skye." Jason suddenly said. Skye looked
up. "What if you win?" "Then part of Mike dies." "I hate having to make all
the hard decisions!" Cozmo erupted. "Why can't Mike be here. He'd know what
to do." "That's it!" Nicky yelled. "What?" Skye asked. "When Mike was split,
Cozmo said he saw 2 halves." Cozmo nodded. "But the other one was too
bright." "Good and Evil." Aoshi reasoned. "We have to find the good Mike."
"You 3 do it." Skye said. "I'll stay here with Janice and Jason." Cozmo and
Aoshi turned to Nicky. "Right." She said, pulling out a Poké-ball. "Fearow,
Go." The 3 flew up into the night sky. "All we can do is just wait." Skye
said.
Darkside had watched all that had happened. "So, they're going to get the
good guy. Then I'll just have to destroy them all." He then turned around.
"Really." A voice said. Melissa stood behind him. "If you want them
destroyed, then I can help you. I have friends. Evil, powerful friends."
Darkside's mouth formed an evil grin.
Nicky, Aoshi, and Cozmo flew over the land on Fearow. "Woa!" Cozmo said,
pointing to a shimmer. "What's that?" "Fearow, set us down." Nicky said.
They landed in a clearing. "Guys!" Darren yelled, running up to them.
"You're alive!" Sarah said, following him. "Yeah, we've got a situation."
Nicky said. "Where's Billy?" Cozmo asked. "She's with us." Darren said.
"Same with Misao and - a friend." "Fearow, Return." Nicky said. The 5
ventured into the clearing. "Cozmo!" Billy yelled, running up to him and
giving him a hug. "Yo!" Misao said, following Billy. Lightside followed
Misao. "It's you!" Cozmo yelled. "We've met?" Lightside asked. "I saw you
when Mike was split." Cozmo said. "We're in trouble." Nicky said. "We need
you guys. It's almost sunrise. Skye's going to start fighting Mr. Evil
Mike." "Darkside." Lightside said, his face contorted in disgust. "Whoever."
Aoshi said. "Let's go!"
Sunrise. Skye and Darkside faced off at the field. "We don't have to do
this." Skye said. "Oh, but we do." Darkside said, as Melissa, Matt and Daryl
stepped up behind him. "Do you like my new friends? I believe you have met."
"IDIOT!" Skye yelled, launching her most powerful blast. Darkside just took
it, and grinned. "Too easy. Dark Side Attack!" He yelled, launching a blast
of Dark power. Skye took the blast, and was blasted to the ground. "Skye!"
both Jason and Matt yelled at the same time. Darkside walked over to where
Skye laid. "Pathetic. I would think that you would of lasted longer."
Darkside said, kicking Skye. "Get it over with." Skye said, blood leaking
from her mouth. "Gladly." Darkside replied. "NO!" Matt yelled, as Daryl
grabbed his arms and pulled him back. "DARK SIDE ATTACK!" Darkside yelled.
Suddenly, in a blinding flash of white light, Skye was teleported out of the
way and into Lightside's arms. Aoshi, Misao, Darren, Cozmo, Billy, and Sarah
landed in the field. "You attack an helpless enemy?" Light said asked,
laying Skye down. "You're even more pathetic then I thought." "Mike?" Skye
asked weakly. "Not yet." Cozmo muttered. "Dark Side Attack!" "Heaven
Shield!" Darkside's attack bounced off Lightside's shield. "Heaven Charge!"
Lightside yelled, creating a bright glow that everybody had to shield their
eyes from. "DARK SIDE ATTACK!" Darkside yelled. "LIGHT SIDE ATTACK!"
Lightside replied, using the light to launch an attack at Darkside. The 2
attacks hit each other and exploded, creating a barrier around the 2 that no
one could see through.
"You have been returned to your place." Lightside said, as Darkside
disintegrated into black dust. "And you yours." Darkside said as Lightside
disintegrated. "In balance again." Were Lightside's last words, as the 2
turned into dust. Then, the dust started swirling around and around until it
formed and became green.
The barrier exploded, and when the others looked, Mike stood there, his
eyes glowing a pine green. "Mike!" Skye yelled, as suddenly her injuries
healed. Janice's eyes opened. "What happened while I was gone?" She asked.
"Janice!" Jason yelled. "The links have been restored!" Misao yelled over
all the commotion. Mike's eyes let out 3 tiny blasts that when in the air,
snowballed into huge blasts that blasted Daryl, Melissa, and Matt away.
"Looks like the Screw-Up Squad's blasting off again." Billy said.
